Children

We believe in the potential of a child’s life. The future of any nation lies in the heart of its children. Investing in the next generation is a priority for us, because we realise that the future is indeed in their hands.

Many churches from traditional denominations throughout Great Britain have no children in attendance at all but thi is not the case for the majority of AoG churches.

Most AoG churches have a specific program for children. A typical church will feature a weekly Sunday morning program of music, activities, crafts and storytelling.

The care and safety of your child is a high priority to us and as a result we have a national policy on safeguarding for all local AoG churches.

If you are searching for a church that has a program for your child; use the Find a Church tab, and when you contact the church ask about their children’s program.

For many years the Assemblies of God has led an initiative which focuses on presenting the gospel to children in a relatable and relevant way. They have held camps for children and training events for those who lead children’s ministries. As a national ministry this is currently being reviewed and more information on its progress will be released in 2012.
