We are passionate about being a resource to kids workers in AoG churches so that we can inspire and ignite the next generation. We have different types of training and networking opportunities available.
We have iconnect - conversations and sharing expereince and ideas in coffee shops around the zones. We also have training days where we hear from different speakers, and have time again to network. Lastly we have icamp, a kids camp that you can bring the children from your local church along to. It's a great time for them to meet other children from churches in the area and they always have a great time.
More informtion will be given about each event closer to each date.
This year iCamp will be held at Hesley Wood Scout Camp, Sheffield on Friday 11- Sunday 13 September 2015. The camp is open to children in primary school years 4-6. As our camp is heldin Autumn this year, we are only offering dormitory accommodation. But as always, we offer day passes for both the Saturday and the Sunday if you wish to attend daily with your group.

Our 2014 conference is going to be bigger and better than ever before! In the middle of our journey together to transform this nation this is a fantastic opportunity for you to refuel, get refreshed and inspired and meet other leaders. We're passionate about building leaders to build churches that are going to have a massive and influential impact on their community and their world - so this conference is designed to do exactly that.
Over the three days and two nights you'll be treated to world class preaching and teaching designed to get right inside the mind of leadership, and surrounded by other leaders in the same position as you who you can relax with, learn from and connect with!
Our speakers will include:
|Bayless Conley was radically saved after a background of serious drug abuse and near death experiences, and on his journey found himself called to ministry, in particular to broadcast on television. He continues to do this, and his television programme reaches into over 100 nations across the world. He and his wife Janet also started Cottonwood Church in California in 1983, which has now grown to over 8000 weekly attendees. Bayless is an experienced and sought after communicator and has a unique take on leadership that will propel you on your leadership journey.||
Joel is a real friend of AOG GB. He's missionally focussed down to his very core, and is an inspirational missional thinker. When he came in January 2013 many of our leaders and areas were challenged, fired up and inspired to rethink and refocus mission in their local church. As a movement we're passionate about being missionally focussed and we can't wait to have Joel speak into the heart of that at conference this year.
He's pastored two large churches and launched an organisation called Pathfinders, which enables people to do mission.
John Partington is the National Leader of AOG GB. He's passionate about seeing this movement grow, change and develop to
John has a father's heart and a gift for speaking encouragement and truth in an engaging and funny manner! He's determined and purposeful about raising a generation of leaders who are bold, determined and corageous and equipped to take the AOG into the future.
Conference will be held at Kingsgate Community Church in Peterborough from Tuesday 6th May to Thursday 8th May 2014.
We've also got our cheapest EVER price - only £89 per person Early Bird Offer! We're sure this is going to be our best conference yet and can't wait to see all of you there.
Mission Forums are a new strategic initiative to bring together like minded leaders who share the same passion or interest in a particular cause or people group. The renewed mandate of AOG Mission (formerly the World Ministries Department) is to mobilse the local church and help them fulfil their God-given role in the Great Commission.
These forums are not merely 'inspirational meetings' they are strategic sessions designed to create action plans we can all be involved in. They are round table format led by experienced and knowledgable leaders.
As a missionally focussed movement we believe when we combine our wisdom, experience and resources we can increase our effectiveness to spread the kingdom of God to the far reaches of the globe!
Forums in 2015
Paul said "My ambition has always been to preach the Good News where the name of Christ has never been heard, rather than where a church has already been started by someone else" Romans 15:20 (NLT)
India is home to more unreached people groups than any other country. Researchers at Joshua Project tell us there are almost 7000 unreached people groups in the world. However more than 2000 of them are located in Northern India!
This year we are holding a follow up forum, you can see the details below. Also in October last year seven pastors travelled with Gary Rucci to North India to see firsthand the amazing work of Empart - a ministry committed to planting 100,000 churches by 2030.
If you would like to take part in the tour this year the date is set for Thursday 12 to Saturday 21 November 2015. The schedule is slightly longer than last year and includes a weekend. It will give you a comprehensive overview of the ministry of Empart and how they have set about planting more than 12,000 churches so far. More details will follow later. Please register your interest by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
