Our Area Conferences are about getting all our leaders with a passion, commitment and call for the same area together to worship God, hear his word and be encouraged and inspired for all that they do. We know that whichever area you're in these events will refresh and invigorate you, as well as giving you practical hands on leadership training. It's so valuable for us to learn from and support each other as we work side by side for God's kingdom - make sure you book in!

WELSH AREA EVENTS
AOG Wales Area Conference
Saturday 27th September
We’re really looking forward to our second All-Wales AOG day together in September. Please book the date and I encourage you to bring your Leadership Team, Key Workers etc.
Once again we will be in Newtown but in our temporary facility which is Pryce Jones, Royal Welsh Warehouse (second floor), Station Road, Newtown SY16 1BJ. It’s easy to find opposite the Rail Station with free parking.
We will provide plenty of light refreshments etc. but please bring your own packed lunch or if you prefer MacDonald’s, Kebab, Fish & Chips, &Town Centre Cafés are all just 3 to 5 minutes’ walk from the venue.
The day will begin with coffee and pastries being served from 9.30am with a 10.00am start. We will aim to finish by 3.15pm.

Our speakers will include:
|Bayless Conley was radically saved after a background of serious drug abuse and near death experiences, and on his journey found himself called to ministry, in particular to broadcast on television. He continues to do this, and his television programme reaches into over 100 nations across the world. He and his wife Janet also started Cottonwood Church in California in 1983, which has now grown to over 8000 weekly attendees. Bayless is an experienced and sought after communicator and has a unique take on leadership that will propel you on your leadership journey.||
Joel is a real friend of AOG GB. He's missionally focussed down to his very core, and is an inspirational missional thinker. When he came in January 2013 many of our leaders and areas were challenged, fired up and inspired to rethink and refocus mission in their local church. As a movement we're passionate about being missionally focussed and we can't wait to have Joel speak into the heart of that at conference this year.
He's pastored two large churches and launched an organisation called Pathfinders, which enables people to do mission.
John Partington is the National Leader of AOG GB. He's passionate about seeing this movement grow, change and develop to
John has a father's heart and a gift for speaking encouragement and truth in an engaging and funny manner! He's determined and purposeful about raising a generation of leaders who are bold, determined and corageous and equipped to take the AOG into the future.

Mission Forums are a new strategic initiative to bring together like minded leaders who share the same passion or interest in a particular cause or people group. The renewed mandate of AOG Mission (formerly the World Ministries Department) is to mobilse the local church and help them fulfil their God-given role in the Great Commission.
These forums are not merely 'inspirational meetings' they are strategic sessions designed to create action plans we can all be involved in. They are round table format led by experienced and knowledgable leaders.
As a missionally focussed movement we believe when we combine our wisdom, experience and resources we can increase our effectiveness to spread the kingdom of God to the far reaches of the globe!
