Meet the Leaders

John Partington

John Partington is the National Leader of AoG. He has been a pastor and apostolic leader and now wants to use his widespread experience, infectious sense of fun and evangelistic zeal to bring a fresh vision and purpose to AoG. John’s exciting journey has demonstrated the God given positive attributes he has shown for more than 3 decades. He thrives on inspiring others with fun, the feel-good factor and, with his father heart, he loves to encourage others. The 56 year old has led churches in Bedworth, Liverpool and Exeter as well as pioneering 7 others.

He has been married to Andrene for 36 years and is a father of 3 and a granddad.

David Shearman

David Shearman is Senior Minister at the Christian Centre, Nottingham and serves on the NLT. As well as being committed to the church and the city of Nottingham, David maintains a busy schedule of preaching all over the world and is part of the NLT.

David operates with a very strong apostolic and prophetic anointing that sharpens, shapes and impacts leaders around the world. He is also an author. David is married to Dorothy and they have two grown up children (themselves married) and three grandchildren.

Doug Williams

Doug Williams is the Senior Leader of ECC in East London and serves on the NLT. Doug was converted to Christ in 1978. He quickly became actively involved in children’s and youth ministry for a group of local churches. Doug spent over 12 years in church-planting and pastoral work in South London, with national and international speaking appointments.

ECC is a growing, multi-racial church of nearly 600 people and to date has launched two CDs of worship songs. He is married to Joan and they have four children.

John Andrews

John Andrews is the Senior Minister of Rotherham New Life Christian Centre and serves on the NLT. He is a teacher with a passion to inspire and equip the Church to make God famous in their world. As well as ministering in the UK, John travels regularly to various nations of the world seeking to invest what he has, while he can.

John is also a Senior Lecturer and Director of Training at the Assemblies of God Bible College at Mattersey Hall, nr Doncaster; he took up this full time post at the beginning of September 2006. Born in Belfast Northern Ireland, John is married Dawn and together they have three children, Elaina, Simeon and Beth-Anne.

Ken Williamson

Ken Williamson is the Senior Pastor of Bethel – London’s Riverside Church, a thriving multicultural church in the East End of London, which has experienced some outstanding growth in the last 10 years. He serves on the NLT, but Ken has a huge passion for the local church and its leadership. He regularly travels overseas, building relationships and imparts to other local churches and leaderships. He is totally committed to leading in a fun team environment.

Ken has been married to Christine for over 30 years and they have two daughters, Hannah and Lois, who are both in full time ministry at the church.
